The course provides vocational outcomes for a person to be employed as a site engineer, project engineer, senior project engineer, foreman, site supervisor, site manager, EHS manager, quality manager, design manager construction manager.
Upon completion of the course, participants will have the skills and knowledge to manage construction quality of concrete building structures, thereby enabling them to:
• Liaise and coordinate with different sub-contractors,
• Supervise and manage the construction of a concrete building structure,
• Understand and mitigate probable risks and defects,
• Read and interpret reports, specifications, working drawings and the terminology used around concrete works,
• Identify issues by applying the principles behind concrete works and ensure the work quality,
• Complete and collate all the necessary ITP (Inspection & Test Plan)
• Raise questions, record, and document the necessary procedures.
